Regarding participation in the Blessed Sacrament of Christ’s True Body and Blood: Because oneness at the altar presupposes oneness in faith and doctrine, we expect that all who commune at the Lord’s altar are members in good standing of an LCMS congregation. We ask that all who commune register on a communion card. All visitors should state their home LCMS congregation. First time visitors please speak to Pastor Dreyer. Individual cups are available as you approach the altar for those desiring them.
Flowers this morning at the altar are in thankfulness for the many blessings
bestowed in their life. David and Connie Embler.
"Thanks" to our guest organist, Vickie Hammond, for sharing her time and
talents with us this morning.
And he began to tell the people this parable: "A man planted a vineyard and let it out to tenants and went into another country for a long while. When the time came, he sent a servant to the tenants, so that they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed. And he sent another servant. But they also beat and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed. And he sent yet a third. This one also they wounded and cast out. Then the owner of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.' But when the tenants saw him, they said to themselves, 'This is the heir. Let us kill him, so that the inheritance may be ours.' And they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? He will come and destroy those tenants and give the vineyard to others." When they heard this, they said, "Surely not!" But he looked directly at them and said, "What then is this that is written: "'The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone'? Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, and when it falls on anyone, it will crush him."
The scribes and the chief priests sought to lay hands on him at that very hour, for they perceived that he had told this parable against them, but they feared the people. So they watched him and sent spies, who pretended to be sincere, that they might catch him in something he said, so as to deliver him up to the authority and jurisdiction of the governor.

WYNEKEN NEWS:
Dear Wyneken Association members, what a blessing it is that our Lord has given us the means to operate a Christian school. We should always remember to thank and praise God for giving us faithful stewards of the gifts which make our school possible. The work of operating the school will never be complete, so we should also continue to pray daily that the Lord will help us to open our hearts and find ways that we can use our gifts to His glory. In the very near future the Board of Education will be seeking individuals to assist with the NLSA Accreditation Renewal process and the maintenance needs of our facility. We pray that you will be receptive to our calls. In His and your service, Wyneken Board of Christian Education.
Policy Reminder:
The Wyneken Board of Education wishes to remind all members and guests that we have a policy governing the use of the school gymnasiums. A provision of the policy is: “Permission must be obtained through the principal or the athletic director for facility usage with no exceptions.” This policy exists for several reasons which include insuring the safety of those using the facilities, guaranteeing adequate supervision is provided, avoiding usage conflicts, and protecting the property of the Association. Members should understand that they are welcome to use the facilities but the policy is to be followed. Please contact Mr. Timm (639-6177) or Mrs. Shoup (724-9069) to request use of the facilities.
Wyneken is seeking bids for lawn and grounds care for the 2010 season. There are 2 parts to be bid; A - Lawn Maintenance, B - Shrubbery Maintenance. Please contact the school office at 260-639-6177 for complete details of the work to be performed. Those wishing to bid are requested to submit to the Wyneken School office by March 31st. The bid selection will be conducted at the April School Board meeting.
