Regarding participation in the Blessed Sacrament of Christ’s True Body and Blood: Because oneness at the altar presupposes oneness in faith and doctrine, we expect that all who commune at the Lord’s altar are members in good standing of an LCMS congregation. We ask that all who commune register on a communion card. All visitors should state their home LCMS congregation. First time visitors please speak to Pastor Dreyer. Individual cups are available as you approach the altar for those desiring them.
"Thank You" to all who remembered me with your cards and prayers and especially to Pastor Dreyer for all his visits and comforting words while I was at Parkview Hospital recovering from surgery.
God's Blessings, Verlin Bultemeier.
"I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them."

TRIP TO THE HOLY LAND:

Praise Lutheran Church - Plans Trip to the Holy Land
By Pastor J. Brown
This Will Change Your Life
Imagine reading the Bible and being able to picture first hand Mount Carmel, where Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal, or seeing the sunset over the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus walked on the water, or remembering back to when you stepped your own foot into the Jordan River, as you now read about your Lord’s own baptism in that very same spot. How would you like to walk in the Garden of Gethsemane, peek your head inside the tomb that held your Savior, visit Cana, or even stand in the very place where the Dead Sea scrolls were found? You can do all this and more! Your dream can indeed become a reality. The possibility exists for you to join Pastor J. Brown & members of Praise Lutheran Church in 2011 on a trip that will take you to a place in your faith that you never thought you’d ever go. Yes, you can come to Israel. Join other Praisers as they embark on a trip to the Holy Land. Know that absolutely no details are set yet. However, we will be having a preliminary meeting to discuss arrangements on June 7th at 7:00 p.m., and another meeting the end of June date TBA. For more information on the trip to the Holy Land you may call Kathy Mildred at #338-0029 or cell # 443-4669, or call the church office #490-7729 (PRAY).
